“ Really love this museum. Its all about Walt Disney and the history behind the creation of the Disney Empire. Theres a lot of interesting exhibits with some fun models and merchandise on display. Be prepared to do a lot of reading. We spent around 2 hours inside but admittedly didnt read everything. Feels like you could spend 34 hours if you wanted to really take in everything. ”
“ This museum is for Walt Disney fans, not for Disneyland fans. While it does have the amazing Disneyland exhibit, its only part of Walts story. So many great items in exhibits and every part of Walts life is beautifully told. Highly recommended if you are in the area. It offers a great view of the Golden Gate as well. The gift shop is great too. ”
“ In 2018, I visited the Walt Disney Family Museum for my university trip. It was such a wonderful visit to the museum. I learned so much history about Walt Disney himself from his early life to the Mickey Mouse cartoons, from his early feature films to the Disneyland theme park. The museum exhibits were amazing. In the end, I went to a gift shop and got a pin badge and a book called An Animators Gallery Eric Goldberg Draws the Disney Characters. ”
“ This museum is amazing! We didnt even know it excited, we found it by looking around on Google maps. And we are glad we did! There is a hall full of all the prices and trophies of Disney. The whole story about the Disney family. There are a lot of original artworks of Walt and his team. They even have a multiplane camera on display. Simply amazing! If you are a Disney fan this is a must see! ”

Youll spend a lot of time looking at all kinds of exhibits, and learn a LOT about Walt Disney himself, as well as seeing all sorts of art from him and his employees. “ Very interesting and informative museum about the life of Walt Disney. Everything is nice and clean, very well kept. Wouldnt recommend if you have no interest in learning about his life, kids will probably get bored. Right next to a nice park with great view of the Golden Gate Bridge. ”
